I think we can cautiously say that the warm weather has finally arrived to the Okanagan and that means for many of us, dragging out the BBQ and weeks of grilling outdoors. This week on Feature Fare, Chef Chris Hanson gives us a super easy recipe that could add a little fun and ‘spice’ to your next backyard get together!

Spiced Rum Pineapple Spears
Fresh Pineapple (Jet Fresh Pineapple from Hawaii is in store now)
Favourite spiced Rum (our recommendation Chairman’s Reserve Spiced Rum)
How to prepare:
Cut Pineapple into spears.
Soak in spiced Rum for 4-6 Hours
Remove from Rum
Dry Spears off really well with paper towel.
Place spears a bamboo skewers or shish kebab skewers,
Grill to your preference on the BBQ.
