Roseanne appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallen this week and while the late night host praised the comedian for her successful re-boot he did bring up the Trump factor that figures pretty prominently in her show. Barr didn’t mince words. Check out the interview here. Fallon, a Trump critic, didn’t stay on the subject very long. He quickly moved on to the comedian talking about getting her big break on the show he’s hosting, back when Johnny Carson was the king of late night.
The Crown’s Claire Foy is set to receive $275,000 in back pay after it was revealed that she made less than her co-star Matt Smith, who plays Prince Philip. (Foy plays the Queen). The actors were not aware of what the other was paid but the producers are stepping forward and making it right. Smith has been very supportive of Foy, saying she should have been paid that much in the first place.
Facebook is entering the dating game. CEO Mark Zuckerberg admits it’s been a challenging year for facebook but at the firm’s F8 Developers Conference, Zuckerberg unveiled a new tool coming to the platform that lets users create a separate dating profile to connect with new people. With Facebook dating, your profile will only be visible to people who aren’t your Facebook friend and that have also opted into dating. However, unlike rival dating apps such as Tinder, Zuckerberg says the dating tool will be for finding long-term mates by linking your interests based on groups you belong to.
