Toby’s Take – May 18, 2018

Avoid Chris Pratt if you haven’t seen Avengers: Infinity War yet. Pratt revealed major movie spoilers to his Parks and Recreation co-stars, though he’s been careful not to ruin the movie publicly.  He isn’t the only one, last year, Mark Ruffalo, who stars as the Hulk, spoiled the ending of the movie during an interview with Good Morning America, as co-star Don Cheadle watched with visible horror all over his face.

We have told you that Murphy Brown is coming back to TV this fall, 20 years after the original sit com ended it’s run.  Now we know the theme of the revival.  Murphy is in the world of 24 hour cable news, anchoring ‘Murphy in the morning.’   Her competitive son Avery hosts a rival show.   Here’s how CBS is setting it up!

You need only mention the show This Is Us and some of us are in tears but it may be actor Oliver Hudson who’s crying the most.  He was up for the role of Jack Pearson but didn’t come back for a ‘chemistry read’ with Mandy Moore because he had a big fishing trip planned.    The role of course went to Milo Ventimiglia, (who we love) but when the series premiered to massive ratings Hudson says he had a serious moment of regret.
