Ever since Donald Trump issued a mandate for NASA to get people to Mars by 2033, NASA, Boeing and SpaceX have been making legit plans to get to the red planet, perhaps even sooner. The plan involves sending people to Mars to colonize the planet and lay the ground work for future generations. The catch is that it’s a one way trip. Once you’re there, you’re not coming back! Space pioneer and second man to walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin, recently weighed in on twitter comparing a Mars trip to the pilgrims coming to America on the Mayflower. Aldrin points out they didn’t plan a return trip. What about you, would you even consider moving to Mars with no promise of ever returning to earth? – Ara and Toby
