Big Brother – Haleigh
We’re getting down to the final few on Big Brother!
Loudmouths, backstabbing, and twists…oh my! I mean let’s be real, it wouldn’t be BB without it right? Every week someone gets shown the door, they’ll be hanging out on Beach Mornings to fill us in on what went right, what went horribly wrong, and more!
Haleigh played a great game and worked the angles on her quest for the win. When her showmantical partner Fessy started second guessing their alliance with Scottie, all hell broke loose and he was shown the door to the jury house, and she inevitably followed not too far behind. Will she forgive and forget those who wronged her? Can she convince the jury to vote for the best player this season? What’s next for her and Fess? Read up to find out!

What an honour it must have been to be chosen to play a game like Big Brother. How did you mentally and physically prepare when you heard you’d made the cut?
Oh my goodness. Hearing that I had made the cut completely made me change gears as far as what my focus was. I tried to re watch as many seasons as possible, keep up with my diet and working out. I read books on body language persuasion. Just tried to prepare myself in every way possible and spend time with my family because I knew I would not see them for a while.
Once you got in the house and everyone starting sizing up each other up, who did you automatically think “Oh snap! This person has got to go soon cause they’re too smart to be in this game for the long haul?” and why?
The two people I thought immediately needs to go were Fessy and Scottie. Don’t laugh. I thought this massive man needs to leave and the evil genius needs to go. Haha!
It’s hard NOT to let emotions take over in a game where you’re stuck in a house with people for on end. You and Fessy hit it off and we’re one of the stronger showmances in there. We’ll get to his big big Brother blunder in a sec, but curious minds want to know, are you two gonna pursue a relationship outside of the house?
I definitely want to pursue a relationship with Fessy. As far as where it end up, who knows. He and I are in two different places in our lives and can’t seem to agree on anything but I can’t help the fact that I think he is a really great person, he is funny, he is cute, so why not pursue it. The worst that can happen is it doesn’t work.
You. Fessy. Scottie. You guys had a solid squad up against the other side of the house. Why in the world did Fessy go against his own alliance and put Scottie on the block which eventually led to him being shown the door, and what do you wanna say to Fess once you reunite in the jury house?
I sure wish I had an answer to what was going through Fessy’s head. I can’t tell you. I spent the whole week questioning it myself. When I see Fessy, I hate to say it but I TOLD YOU SO! For some reason there was always a little distrust with Fessy towards Scottie and I do not know why.
A while back, Sam put you and Kaitlyn on the block and during her HOH week with a speech that called you two out for pretty much flirting your way to safety. Did she ever apologize for that? Did you two ever talk that out?
She did apologize and she and I had a pretty long talk about it. I heard her side of the the story and she heard mine. We both mutually agreed that we are going to move on. We both understand each other’s perspectives.
When Scottie won the Battle Back was there any way you two could have swayed the power back to your side or was it too little too late?
We could have gotten the power back. All we needed was that HOH and neither of us could pull it through.
In retropect, if you would have kept your secret about being the hacker do you believe you would have moved further in this game?
Part of me wants to say yes but another part of me thinks I wouldn’t. Regardless or not if I had come out of the hacker there were still alliances made. At one point or another I would have been taken out of the game because I was not aligned with the people winning.
You put Kaycee on the block a few times and she has come to life in this game as of late beastmoding her way to wins. Are the remaining houseguests crazy for not trying to blindside her?
Absolutely. I wouldn’t say crazy for not trying to blindside her but I think they made a mistake keeping her because she is a competitor, she is socially adapted to the whole house and there is not one person that has one bad thing to say about her and I hope she makes it to the end.
There was a moment when you and Brett started to get a little flirty in the hammock and Fessy was not impressed. Was that all strategy to tap into the other side of the house so you could stay alive in this game a few more weeks?
No. It was not strategy. That was Brett and I having conversation about mutual interest and college. I honestly thought that was his last night in the house so I was spending it with him just to get to know him better.
