Together We Are Stronger
Canadians are coming together for Humboldt. There are so many ways to show your support for the survivors of the Humboldt Bronco’s bus crash. Whether you are part of the hockey world or not, this tragedy has hit so many of us very hard. In Kelowna tomorrow, (April 12th) you can be part of a vigil at Prospera Place in the west parking lot at 4pm. The West Kelowna Warriors Hockey Club is hosting a candlelight vigil in the courtyard at Royal LePage Place at 6pm. They encourage everyone to come whether you do so alone or with your team. At 7 pm head over to The Capital News Centre and take in a junior level charity hockey game by donation. All money collected will go to the Humboldt Broncos GoFundMe campaign, which by the way, is approaching $9,000 000 as of Wednesday morning. Don’t forget to wear your jersey tomorrow and post your photos on social media with #JerseysforHumboldt. Let’s all show our compassion and support for the victims of a tragedy that’s struck at the very heart of our hockey culture.
