Barbecue season is a cookbook all on it’s own. Got to love that BBQ smell in the air. The cooks of the kitchen move outdoors, and this it one area where my husband can cook better then me. I have to admit though with all the new BBQs and the cool features they have, anyone can prepare a delicious meal.
Roasts and chickens can be an all day affair but the smell will have your guests and the neighbors drooling. Who doesn’t love a good steak cooked on the BBQ, and chicken is a favorite, although the burger is ruler of the BBQ. Beef burgers, chicken burgers, salmon burgers and yes vegetable burgers too.
Check out the meat department and learn what to cook and how. The selection of steaks, chicken and kabobs are amazing. You pick your meal and they can help with ideas on cooking, marinades, rubs, and condiments. Plus you have the opportunity to visit the other departments to complete a fabulous meal.
Add corn on the cob, new nugget potatoes, a loaf of fresh baked bread or baguette, dips for the bread or vegetable tray and of course a scrumptious dessert.
Remember BBQ season is about getting outdoors so don’t make dinner a complicated event, let us help and enjoy the sunshine with friends and family
Happy Barbecuing!
