Did you miss me!? Several contest-goers today were “disappointed” that the Jeep and I weren’t on location last Friday or yesterday. I know they just want more chances to win, and it’s less about friendship. It’s part of the job. 😉
11am – 12:43pm: Okanagan Dodge
Back where it all began a week ago, we saw many familiar faces from Week 1 at our corner setup at OK Dodge. A huge thanks to Emily for bringing out a tent for myself and the ballot box to hang out under; we would have roasted in the sun! Since it is so hot and sunny, I REMOVED THE ROOF! The Jeep Wrangler Sahara has a “Freedom Top,” which is 2 panels above the driver and passenger that can be removed and stored (another huge thanks to Rachel and Darla for assisting me with placing the roof pieces into the bag; they didn’t know they were in for some physical labour when they came to enter! Just goes to show how awesome our listeners are!). Additionally, you can take off the entire roof structure, but that will require some extra human-power, and not something I should be doing when I only have 103 minutes per location!
