Corey’s “Free Ride” Blog: Tranquility

Inner peace and oneness is the order of the day!  I visited two different, yet similar locations today, as we continue our mission to qualify you to win a new Jeep Wrangler Sahara!

11 – 12:43pm: Okanagan Koi & Water Gardens
Overlooking Kelowna at the corner of Highway 33 and Garner Road, it’s a whole different vibe up at Okanagan Koi!  Koi fish that will nibble your finger, a tranquil garden that feels like you’ve stepped back in time to the Orient, and lush vegetation for your home oasis.  I can’t count how many contest-goers remarked how they never knew “this was up here!”  It’s the kind of place you can just roam around and spend some time, even if you don’t have a koi pond!  Plus adorable rescue dogs soaking up the sun without a care in the world!

3 – 4:43pm: Great Way Martial Arts
The afternoon location was more of an inner tranquility.  At Great Way Martial Arts, all ages can learn the discipline, confidence and self-respect that comes with practicing Kung Fu and Wing Chun.  I was amazed at the number of parents bringing their little ones to class! And what a great facility! A huge 7000 square foot matted room to move around on!  Martial Arts is a well-known, but often over-looked part of physical fitness; but it’s on my radar now.
