3 – 4:43pm: Orchard Greens Golf Club (2777 K.L.O. Road)
Just the one Free Ride Jeep giveaway today, and talk about a hole in one! Free sliders from Orchard Greens’ Bunk House restaurant, wine and cider tasting from The View Winery, and a putting contest to win a O.G.G.C. user membership! I channeled my inner-Adam Sandler is Happy Gilmore for the putting challenge (of course I missed, I did just try all of the The View Winery samples though…) Kudos to both Linda and Rachel, a couple of the regular Jeep followers; both sank a long-range putt to win 2 for 1 golf (Maybe the sliders are good luck)! Also, a welcome back to Greg, who had hip surgery in Week 1 of the contest; it was great to see him walking up to fill out another Entry Form! His putt was close too! I had a fun time watching everyone trying to sink their putt, and I probably said “oooooOOOOO Aaaagh!” twenty times. So close!
I can’t wait to come back in July for the next 103 minutes and try again!
