Have you ever wondered how vehicles managed to get inside of shopping malls? Me too! I arrived at the Pear Entrance of Orchard Park Shopping Centre this morning at 8:30 and found out. The automatic sliding doors opened, and security popped open the secondary “windows,” revealing a garage-door-sized pathway. Ta-da!
Cautioned to keep my speed at 5 kph, I crept inside the mall, squeezing between the storefronts and the centre furniture. Eventually (!) I reached my destination.
11am – 12:43pm: Orchard Park Shopping Centre (2711 Harvey Ave)
When the clock struck 11, it was on! Within the first 5 minutes, I entered a dozen names into the first draw of the day. I immediately thought, “Did I bring enough Entry Forms?” After 20 minutes, the answer was clear. I did not bring enough Entry Forms to last 103 minutes of this frenzy! A call was made to boss-man Russell for an emergency delivery. Not only did he save the day with backup Entry Forms, he brought his muscle to wipe-down the Jeep! (the sunbeams shifted since I arrived, exposing a plethora of water spots I missed)
