Corey’s “Free Ride” Blog: Do Not Ticket me!

It’s the start of a fresh week with the Jeep; 7 NEW locations for you to find me at!

11am – 12:43pm: MATCH Eatery & Public House
It’s the perfect pre-game/concert/event spot! Right across Water Street from Prospera Place, it’s tucked upstairs inside the Playtime Casino.  I’ve been up here before a Rockets game, but never during the week. If you’re looking for a new lunch spot, here it is! It’s rare that I don’t have eyes on the Jeep while I am standing at my table, so it was reassuring to pop out on MATCH’s patio overlooking Water St to have a quick gander (and call down to people milling around the Jeep that they should come upstairs to enter!). I think the next time I’m here (July 15), I will set up on the patio just for that reason! Plus, they have Happy Hour (wink wink). Thanks to Michelle from the parking patrol for issuing me a “Do Not Ticket” ticket; those parking people are so much fun to deal with!

3 – 4:43pm: Strong Roots Flooring (688 Fitzpatrick Road)
Back up to Strong Roots for the second time, so it was a lot easier for the regular contest-goers to find me!  I don’t need a Do Not Ticket ticket here, thankfully. And it’s always great when listeners stay inside of the business for a while, asking questions.  “Last Minute” Sheryl, as I like to call her, made it with about 30 seconds to spare!  She generally shows up in the last 5 minutes, it’s remarkably punctual!  It was some vindication, as she was 3 minutes late last week to get to the Food Bank, and of course, I draw one name from the box after 103 minutes passes.  She has such a good attitude anyways!  It’s a good thing she is thinking of redoing her floors; what a perfect place to come enter to win the Jeep, and get some sound advice!!
