Rogers Communications is opening a new customer call centre in Kelowna, creating 350 jobs.
The company says the facility on Dickson Avenue in the Landmark District will open next summer and is expected to handle about one million interactions with Rogers and Fido customers every year.
Another 150 employees are expected to be hired as demand increases.
Rogers says it has hired more than one-thousand call centre workers for similar positions across the country over the last 18 months.
