Face of Wildfire Service taking new job

You probably saw him a lot on TV during wildfire season, but now the face of B.C. Wildfire in central B.C. is moving on.

Kevin Skrepnek is leaving one part of government to move on to another, with the Thompson-Nicola Regional District.

He will become the new emergency program coordinator.

Skrepnek has been the Wildfire Service’s Chief Fire Information Officer, based in Kamloops.
