An out-building in West Kelowna is a total loss after a fire Monday night.
West Kelowna Fire Rescue responded to a fully involved out-building in the 2000 block of Bartley Road just after 10 p.m.
“The fire was easily knocked down with hand lines from the first due Engine. Damage to nearby vehicles and trailers was minimal, but the out-building – which contained tools and industrial equipment – is a total loss,” said assistant chief Brent Watson.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Twenty West Kelowna firefighters responded to the blaze.
“Icy roads hampered fire suppression operations, but there were no injuries,” added Watson.
