When someone with a disability does something noteworthy, it makes using the term “disable” feel inaccurate.
For instance, Laurent Hurtubise has been golfing since age 11. He has one arm. He shot a hole-in-one.
I’d call that kind of talent “able” any day of the week. (Preferably on a day that I’m not golfing, because I use two arms and stink at golf)
