People do weird, dumb things.
Usually when you read in the news that a dentist has been convicted of several charges, you don’t really want to know what heinous act was committed. This is not one of those stories.
An Alaskan dentist filmed himself performing a regular procedure on a sedated patient, while riding a hoverboard.
To this, I ask “why??”
Is life that dull for him that he needed to spice it up with some hover technology?
Could the low amount of daylight during winter months have affected this dentist into thinking this was a good thing to do, and subsequently pass along to friends?
I will admit to chuckling at the absurdity of it all. After successfully removing the tooth, the dentist hovers away down the hall, raising his arms in triumph. Kind of funny.
But then if he’s doing this today, what might he attempt tomorrow? And what if he fell off the board mid-procedure?
Rule of thumb: don’t use a hoverboard for anything.
