Dental clinic celebrates 15 years
The public is invited to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Kelowna’s Gospel Mission’s not-for-profit Dental Clinic at 259B Leon Avenue on Friday (Jan. 24) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The clinic helps individuals who otherwise cannot access dental care due to the costs.
Dental manager Julie Del Puppo says many people have been helped over the years.
“We’ve gone through many changes in our nonprofit Dental Clinic over the past 15 years and are excited to get the message out to our community partners and the public. It is so rewarding to be able to help people who would otherwise not be able to afford dental care. We provide basic dental care for everyone from children to seniors as well as the residents of our emergency shelter,” said Del Puppo.
The clinic’s hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Appetizers, treats and refreshments will be served by Kelowna’s Gospel Mission’s Dental staff.
