If you’re looking for a reason to root for one team over another in this Sunday’s NFL championship, may I present the Kansas City Chiefs.
KC boasts TWO canucks on their squad; Ryan Hunter (Guard) from North Bay, Ontario, and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (Guard) from Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec.
This is Hunter’s second season with the Chiefs, and Duvernay-Tardif’s sixth.
On Sunday, Duvernay-Tardif will become the first medical doctor to ever play in the Super Bowl! He earned his degree in medicine from McGill in 2018. “Dr. Champion” has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
