A 40-year-old man from Kamloops is facing potential charges of robbing a business at Kelowna International Airport.
Police say a man entered an undisclosed store last Wednesday around 7 p.m. and demanded money from the till, and when it was not produced he threatened staff, grabbed merchandise and fled of foot.
Officers flooded the area and arrested a man.
“Our front line officers arrested the suspect without incident,” stated RCMP Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy, “Fortunately no one was injured in this robbery.”
