Kelowna RCMP believe driver error is to blame for a collision between a car and a business on Saturday afternoon that caused substantial damage to the building.
Thankfully, no one was hurt.
On February 29th, just after 4 p.m., Kelowna RCMP were called to a local business on the 600 block of KLO Road in Kelowna.
Police say 63-year-old Kelowna woman had driven her Toyota Corolla through the front of the building causing significant damage to the vehicle and the building.
“The driver is extremely fortunate that no one was injured in this collision,” said Cpl Jocelyn Noseworthy, Kelowna RCMP spokesperson. “The cause of this collision is believed to be driver error.”
Noseworthy said drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
