Police conclude probe into suspicious package

RCMP have provided on update on a suspicious package discovered Monday at the Gorman Brothers mill on Dunfield Road in West Kelowna
“The suspicious package that West Kelowna RCMP were investigating has been determined to be non-criminal in nature and not a threat to the public,” stated RCMP Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy.
Police blocked off the area Monday after employees noticed the suspicious item
“As a precaution, RCMP cordoned off the area and requested the assistance of the RCMP E Division’s Explosive Disposal Unit who attended and determined that the contents of the package were not a threat to the public,” Noseworthy added.
RCMP their investigation of the matter has been concluded.
