27 new COVID cases in B.C.; three more deaths
The latest COVID-19 figures from B.C.’s Ministry of Health as of 3 p.m. April 14:
New cases: 27
Total cases: 1,517
Cases by health region:
- Vancouver Coastal: 658 (was 650 Monday)
- Fraser Health: 601 (591)
- Vancouver Island: 89 (87)
- Interior Health: 141 (136)
- Northern Health: 28 (26)
There is one new long term care outbreak at the South Granville Park Lodge in Vancouver.
There are three more positive cases among temporary foreign workers at Bylands Nursery in West Kelowna for a total of 23.
There is still just one positive case at the Okanagan Correction Centre in Oliver
There are 41 confirmed cases at the federal medium-security prison in Mission, with seven people in hospital.
There are 134 people in hospital, with 58 in critical care/ICU.
Three more people have died, all in long-term care homes, one in Vancouver Coastal, and the other in Fraser Health. The provincial death toll is now 72.
942 people have recovered.
