Man found dead near creek

RCMP say foul play is not suspected in the death of a man found near a creek near KLO and Spiers roads in Kelowna Saturday morning.

He has been identified as a Kelowna man in his 70’s.

“At this time, criminality is not suspected in the man’s death,” said RCMP Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy, media relations officer.

The BC Coroners Service is investigating to determine how, where, when and by what means he came to his death.

The man’s name is not being released due to privacy reasons.
