Pedestrian hit by commercial truck

An adult male pedestrian sustained serious injuries after after being struck by a commercial vehicle in Kelowna Thursday morning.

RCMP say the incident happened in the 500-block of Harvey Avenue around 6:50 a.m., and the investigation is in the early stages.

“The driver of the commercial vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy, media relations officer.
