Water quality advisory lifted for IR #9

A water quality advisory covering homes on the Westbank First Nation (WFN) IR #9 has been lifted.

An update issued Monday said WFN utilities department staff have closely monitored the turbidity levels of Okanagan Lake since the advisory was put into effect.

This morning, following review of the lake content, WFN utilities has lifted the advisory as the lake has settled and now meets the drinking water quality guidelines for turbidity levels.
