Horgan makes surprise stop in Vernon
John Horgan made an unannounced campaign stop in Vernon Saturday.
The NDP leader, who called the snap election last month, met with Vernon-Monashee candidate Harwinder Sandhu and Kelowna-West candidate Spring Hawes outside Ratio Coffee.
Media were not advised of Horgan’s visit which was publicized by Horgan on his Twitter feed.
He was actually flying from Vancouver to Revelstoke, but weather forced a Kelowna landing and his entourage drove the rest of the way.
Stopped in Vernon to surprise @SpringHawes and @harwinderndp19. Thanks Vernon for the great conversations and some of the best coffee and donuts we've had so far. What a great community! pic.twitter.com/G3AyVJqzRz
