On Thursday (Oct. 22) at 11:30 p.m., RCMP was called to assist the Kelowna Fire Department at a fire in the front lobby of a financial institution in the 1800-block of Dilworth Drive. Firefighters were actively extinguishing the blaze when officers arrived on scene.
“RCMP has initiated an investigation and have reason to believe that the fire was deliberately set,” stated Cpl. We are now appealing to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area to contact us.”
The suspect was described as a man wearing a grey hoody.
