One resident suffered minor injuries in a fire at a mobile home in the 700-block of Beaver Lake Road in Kelowna, near the Lake Country border, Sunday night (Nov. 8).
The home was fully involved when crews arrived.
“Multiple apparatus from Lake Country Fire and Kelowna Fire responded,” said platoon captain Jarret Dais. “Thankfully all residents were able to evacuate the home, and through swift action by crews on scene, the fire was extinguished quickly, limiting the damage to the single mobile home.
There was also minor damage to a nearby recreational vehicle and hedge.
A resident was treated by BC Ambulance paramedics for smoke inhalation.
