Man wanted for murder may be in Okanagan
RCMP are appealing for information that could help them find an alleged killer with ties to Kelowna.
Police in Grande Prairie Alberta say there’s still no sign of 26-year-old Adam Pearson, who’s wanted for the October 2019 first-degree murder of 28-year-old Cody Michaloski.
The victim’s body was found in Alberta and police arrested 25-year-old Benjamin Pearson in Kelowna in May, but Adam Pearson remains missing.
Police say the red-haired suspect — who may go by the nickname Red — might have dyed his hair to avoid detection.
He uses Air B-and-Bs or motels, and is known to have ties throughout B.C., Alberta and the Toronto area.
“Please do not approach Pearson, but contact the Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701 or your local police, if you see him or know his whereabouts. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store,” stated Corporal Deanna Fontaine, Media Relations Officer
Western Alberta District RCMP.
