UPDATE Serious crash closes part of Glenmore Road

RCMP say Glenmore Road has reopened between Kelowna and Lake Country.

Kelowna RCMP, Emergency Health Services and the Kelowna Fire Department are currently on scene of a serious motor vehicle collision that has closed the Glenmore Road north of John Hindle Drive to Highway 97 North in Lake Country.

Police are asking any motorists affected by the incident for their patience as emergency crews work to assess and clear the scene and to plan an alternate route.

No further details are available at this time, however an update will be provided once the road has been re-opened.
