A Kelowna man suffered serious injuries in the crash of an all terrain vehicle (ATV).
RCMP responded, along with BC Emergency Health Services and Fire Rescue, to a report of a man pinned under an ATV which had gone over an embankment on Bear Forest Service Road in West Kelowna on Tuesday (Jan. 27) around 4:30 p.m.
“A 60-year-old Kelowna man was transported to hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries. He is believed to have been the driver,” RCMP Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said.
A 52-year-old Kelowna woman, who was a passenger on the ATV, was not injured.
“This matter is still under investigation. No further information is being released at this time,” Noseworthy remarked.
