A North Okanagan driver may have been impaired by drugs when he allegedly collided with a bus stop pole in Kelowna.
The 35-year-old man from Enderby was issued a 24-hour driving prohibition after the incident Feb. 24 near the intersection of Sutherland Avenue and Pandosy Street.
Police say a grey Dodge Journey struck a pole at a bus stop, causing minor damage to the vehicle and the pole.
“Officers investigated and formed the grounds to believe that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by drugs,” Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
