Mid-to-late 70-year-olds can book Covid shots this week
Seniors in their mid-to-late 70’s can book an appointment for a Covid-19 vaccine this week.
Starting at noon today (Mar. 22), people aged 78 and over can call to set up a time; Tuesday it’s 77, and so on, leading to 75-year-olds on Saturday (Mar. 27). You can see the complete schedule below.
Aboriginal people 55 and over can also book now.
The number to call is 1-877-740-7747 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
About 490,022 British Columbians have received at least one dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 1.69 per cent of the population.
More than two-million doses of Covid vaccines are set to arrive in Canada this week — nearly 1.2-million from Pfizer and 846,000 from Moderna.
And 1.5-million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine are due to arrive from the U.S. by the end of the month.

- Seniors born in or before 1943 (78+) and Aboriginal people born in or before 1966 (55+)may book from Monday, March 22 from 12:00 pm PDT.
- Seniors born in or before 1944 (77+) may book from Tuesday, March 23 from 12:00 pm PDT.
- Seniors born in or before 1945 (76+) may book from Thursday, March 25 from 12:00 pm PDT.
- Seniors born in or before 1946 (75+) may book from Saturday, March 27 from 12:00 pm PDT.
