UPDATE: Conservation Service fines illegal dumper
UPDATE:
ORIGINAL: The Conservation Officer Service is asking for the public’s help to locate a vehicle that is believed to be linked to an illegal dumping incident near Kelowna.
Electronics, a microwave, chairs, garbage and other household items were dumped in a rural area northeast of the city over the weekend. Conservation officers hope tips from the public can help identify a suspect.
On March 27, a white Ford Ranger with a full load of household garbage was captured on camera driving onto Postill Lake Forest Service Road at 11:24 a.m. Shortly after, at 12:10 p.m., the truck is seen leaving the same road with an empty cargo bed.
The illegal dump site was located just past the 10 km mark, near the access road to Moore Lake.

Tips can be confidentially reported to the Report All Poachers and Polluters (RAPP) hotline at 1-877-952-7277.
