Interior Health has 50 per cent of new COVID cases in B.C.
Interior Health (IH) had 37 new COVID-19 cases today, half of the 74 new infections in the province.
There are 207 active cases in IH, second most in the province.
No new deaths have been reported in B.C. over the last 24 hours.
There are 692 active cases in the province with 50 people in hospital and 12 in intensive care.
The new/active cases include:
* 27 new cases in Fraser Health
* Total active cases: 182
* nine new cases in Vancouver Coastal Health
* Total active cases: 241
* 37 new cases in Interior Health
* Total active cases: 207
* no new cases in Northern Health
* Total active cases: 32
* three new cases in Island Health
* Total active cases: 22
* no new cases of people who reside outside of Canada
* Total active cases: eight
Over 6.2 million vaccine doses have been administered in B.C.
As of July 20, 80.0 per cent (3,706,660) of eligible people 12 and older have received their first dose and 54.4 per cent (2,519,686) have had two doses.
In addition, 81.0 per cent (3,503,156) of all eligible adults have received their first dose and 57.8 per cent (2,498,763) are fully vaccinated.
