Magazine rates Big White as #2 resort in Canada
For the second year in a row, Big White Ski Resort has been voted one of the best ski resorts in North America by readers of a prestigious magazine.
In its 2022 Readers Choice Awards, Condé Nast Traveller named Big White 4th out of 10 in all North America, and 2nd in Canada.
“It’s an incredible accomplishment, especially after two seasons operating amidst a world-wide pandemic, for Big White Ski Resort to be recognized as one of the best resorts globally,” said Michael J. Ballingall, Senior Vice President, Big White Ski Resort Ltd. “And it’s an accomplishment we really couldn’t have achieved without the dedicated team that keeps the resort running, our loyal season passholders and locals, and the guests who visit us year after year because they truly love the resort.”
B.C.’s Whistler Blackcomb was named the number-one resort in North America by the publication.
Big White collected a score of 87.42, less than one point from the number one North American resort, and up over seven points from last year’s score of 80.3. The scores are percentages representing overall average levels of satisfaction.
Condé Nast Traveller has a print readership of five million a month, plus 16 million unique users on its digital platforms.
