Few details are being released by police after a man was injured in what may have been an explosion in Kelowna.
RCMP responded to call from the Kelowna Fire Department on Thursday (Oct. 27) at 9:40 p.m. about a “possible explosion” in the 1300 block of Sylvania Crescent.
“A police officer attended and he was advised that a male was transported by Emergency Health Services to a local hospital for treatment of minor burns,” said Ryan Watters, communications advisor, police services.
The incident apparently did not involve anything suspicious as Watters said there is no related criminal investigation.
