Chamber to host provincial conference
The Kelowna Chamber will host the BC Chamber Conference and AGM in May of 2024.
Several hundred delegates are expected to attend, which the business group says is good news for local Chamber members, local businesses, local tourism practitioners, and the local economy.
“We’re excited to be chosen the host for this important annual event, which draws not only representatives from the 100+ chambers of commerce and boards of trade in B.C. but also attracts media and major business leaders from across the province,” Chamber executive director Dan Rogers, said.
“The Kelowna Chamber is well-respected among chamber colleagues for its profile in the community, and for its active policy process,” said Pamela Pearson, president of the Chamber. “The policy sessions at the 2024 Conference will be even more meaningful to all of us, being in our own backyard.”
The dates in May 2024 for the BC Chamber AGM will be finalized in the next few months.
Securing the BC Chamber AGM also means the Chamber’s professional development organization, the BC Chamber Executives, will bring their two-day conference to Kelowna which draws a couple hundred professionals that work for chambers across the province.
