New twist on classic burger

McDonald’s is introducing a new take on its most famous burger.

The restaurant chain will start offering the Chicken Big Mac on March 7 at its Canadian outlets.

“We know that Canadians have been hacking the Chicken Big Mac in creative ways over the years, eager to get their hands on the real thing” Alyssa Buetikofer, chief marketing officer for McDonald’s Canada, said.

The Chicken Big Mac features two chicken patties made with Canadian-raised seasoned chicken breast on a toasted sesame seed bun, along with the classic toppings – Big Mac sauce, fresh lettuce, processed cheddar cheese and pickles.

McDonald’s says the new sandwich will be offered for a limited time.
