Nurse suspended for privacy violation

A West Kelowna nurse has been suspended for 10 weeks for breaching patient privacy by accessing the medical records of a person she had no care or work relationship with.
The BC College of Nurses and Midwives said Nancy Brocker sent the person harassing text messages.
She voluntarily agreed to multiple disciplinary actions along with a public reprimand and remedial education in ethics.
