Man falls from second floor of building
Police say a man suffered serious injuries after a fall from a building in Kelowna
On Saturday, April 22, at 7:00 a.m. Kelowna RCMP attended a two-storey apartment building in the 1700 block of Abbott Street after a report of a man who had fallen from the second floor.
RCMP arrived to find a man, unconscious, laying on the ground with severe injuries. Emergency Health Services transferred the victim to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
One man has been arrested.
“This was a disturbing situation for residents and police officers alike,” Const. Mike Della-Paolera, media relations officer, said.
“Our thoughts are with the victim and his family.”
Della-Paolera said the investigation is ongoing and in the early stages.
