Pedestrian struck at Kelowna carwash

Police in Kelowna responded to a carwash after a pedestrian was allegedly struck by a vehicle Friday morning.
The RCMP reportedly were called to the scene at the corner of Harvey Ave. and Pandosy St. shortly after 8:30 a.m. May 5.
The pedestrian was allegedly struck by a vehicle at the carwash and was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The police investigation was launched and people were asked to stay out of the area, though the RCMP did note there was no danger to the public.
As the investigation is still in the early stages the RCMP ask that any witnesses to the event or anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage from the area contact the Kelowna RCMP non-emergency line at 250-762-3300.
