Good news on the Pigeon Creek wildfire west of Peachland which officials now say is “being held” and not likely to grow past its predetermined boundaries under current conditions.
The BC Wildfire Service says the 33 hectare fire is suspected to be caused by lightning.
About 60 fire personnel along with air crews are working on the fire scene which is 6.5 km’s west of Peachland.
