Police investigating collision involving pedestrian

Kelowna RCMP were on the scene of a serious collision involving a pedestrian and motor vehicle Monday morning.

Police say the collision occurred in the 3300 block of Sexsmith Road just before 11 a.m. July 31.

As of 11:15 a.m., officers were still on the scene investigating the collision, and the public was being asked to avoid the area.

Police did not provide any information on the condition of the pedestrian.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage from the area at the time of the crash and has not already spoken with police are asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
