Fiery crash claims life

Police say one person died in a single vehicle crash in Kelowna Thursday night (Aug. 3).
Officers say the vehicle involved in the incident on Springfield Road at Quigley Road, caught fire.
“The male driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital and the file has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service who are conducing an investigation,” RCMP spokesperson Ryan Watters said.
The Kelowna RCMP are providing no other details on the incident.
