Who won the Ford Mustang?

After months of waiting, one Okanagan resident got to drive away with an awesome 2022 Ford Mustang.

That’s courtesy of the Okanagan Free Ride contest from 107.5 and 103.1 Beach Radio and 104.7 The Lizard.

Ten finalists’ names were called to the stage at Rock the Lake Sunday evening, but only one would emerge victorious.

Cue drum roll, please.

And there it was, like music to her ears – Tina Hamm’s name was called as the crowd erupted in cheers, her face in disbelief as she was named the winner.

“I can’t even tell you how cool that was. I was praying for my name to be said and it happened,” the Vernon resident told Kelowna10 after winning.

She said she entered over half a dozen times through out the duration of the contest. Anyone could enter the contest by visiting the cool ride when it was on show at numerous locations in the region over the summer.

For Hamm, this new car will be a major upgrade over her current wheels.

“I have to keep [the Mustang] because I have a 2008 Mazda,” Mann said, while surrounded by the radio stations’ on-air celebrities.
