Dead man found in park

RCMP are investigating after a man was found dead at a Kelowna park.

Police say the man appeared to have been in Sutherland Bay Park at 700 Ellis Street throughout the night.

“Initial investigation and search of the area, including items associated to the man, show no signs of foul play,” Corporal Michael Gauthier of the RCMP’s media relations unit, said.

Gauthier said the BC Coroners Service will be assisting with the investigation including identifying the person.
