Congestion and poor conditions on Highway 1

Drive BC is recommending motorists not use the Trans Canada Highway between Revelstoke and Golden unless absolutely necessary.

A travel advisory is in effect due to poor conditions and major delays are reported due to congestion.

Drive BC is suggesting travellers consider using alternate routes or delay their trip.

The next update on the highway will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
