The Kelowna Fire Department had 15 members on the scene of a structure fire Monday morning.
The dispatch centre received multiple calls about the fire at a residence at 1826 Bernard Avenue around 4:40 a.m. Jan. 29.
The first arriving officer reported visible flames around the front entrance of the residence.
“The fire was quickly extinguished with minimal damage to the exterior of the home and small extension into the attic,” Captain Chris Zimmerman said.
Zimmerman said the fire is being treated as suspicious, and the cause is under investigation by RCMP and Kelowna Fire Department.
